430 Steps

"430 STEPS was formed in 2016 in the city of Orlando, Florida, with Nelson Porras as the vocalist, Carlos Mejía on bass, and Gustavo Porras and Manuel Porras on guitars.

The sound of 430 STEPS is inspired by the 80s and 90s, focused on Hardcore Punk with specific influences such as Suicidal Tendencies, Comeback Kid, Turnstile, among others.

When they didn't have a name or a clear sound yet, they recorded a cover of a Suicidal Tendencies song called "Cyco Vision" and later received a proposal from a friend to make a music video as part of an audiovisual experiment. When the members saw the final result, they noticed that the storage number where they filmed was visible on screen: 430. They liked it so much that they decided to use it as their name and complement it with STEPS, thus formalizing the project.

This band, of Venezuelan descent, has several short albums such as "Nothing Left", "Faster and Louder", "Heartless", and "Citizen of Nothing". Their latest LP "Lights Out" was released in digital platforms in October 2022.

They have shared the stage with legendary bands such as Sick Of It All, Madball, Comeback Kid, Dickies, and TSOL, just to name a few.

Currently, the band is touring their latest album "Lights Out", which features Martin Imhof as their new drummer. Produced and recorded by the band's guitarist, Gustavo Porras, at Red Lion Studio in Orlando, Florida."
